How To Port ROM [mt6580]
This guide is for porting,
Chipset:-mt6580
Kernel:-3.18.19+
Android version:-6.0
[Pc]
Steps
0- Backup your files to prevent data loss
1- Create two new folders on your desktop[Pc] or in your internal storage or the root of your external storage.
2- Name the first folder stock and name the second folder port
3- Extract the port ROM using (7zip or rar) to the folder that you named port
4- Extract your stock ROM zip to the folder that you named stock
NOTE- You can get your stock rom from your phone directly if you are a rooted android user, to do this just use any root explorer and go to the root of your device(it is labelled as "/" without the quotes) and copy the "system" folder to your memory card or your internal storage
5- Now copy and replace the following folders/files from your stock rom folder to port rom folder
*firmware folder from etc
*egl,hw and soundfx folders from lib
*libcamalgo.so and libcameracustom.so from lib
6- Port the port rom boot.img(to do this, download MTK BOOT IMG)
7- Unpack stock and port boot.img and replace kernel from stock to port
8- Repack the boot.img and rename it from boot-new.img to boot.img
9- Copy the ported boot.img to the port rom folder
10- Zip the ported rom then flash
